About the position
DUR002115 – CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – LOCATION IS NEGOTIABLE
Purpose of the Job:
The successful candidate will represent the interests of the industry and producers, ensure the implementation of the company’s mission, vision, and strategy, and lead the organization towards achieving short-, medium-, and long-term goals.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary Education (MSc/MA in Business Administration and/or Agric. Economics or similar)
Technical Competencies & Experience:
- Min of 10 years experience as a CEO or relevant senior role.
- Budget development and implementation.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Citrus market and industry.
- Knowledge of international trade policies.
- Provide leadership and direction to the top management team.
- Work closely with the COO and the management team structure and succession planning.
- Drive industry transformation initiatives.
- Manage key stakeholder relationships and communication.
- Ensure corporate governance and compliance.
- Oversee market access and development.
- Analyse problematic situations and provide solutions for survival and growth.

- Good communication skills – verbal & written.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
