About the position
My client is looking for an experienced Buyer of tyres (including truck, agricultural, tractors, mining machinery etc). A great opportunity for the right person to play a key role in their procurement division. Experience in an OEM would be a good match for this role which is based in Johannesburg South. Open to South African citizens and preference will be given to equity candidates.
A Diploma in CIPS, or CSCP would be advantageous or
Proven experience in purchasing in the tyre or consumables category for this role
Key functions will include
- Purchasing
- Inventory Management
- Supplier Performance Management

- Strong understanding and experience in operational systems and procedures

- Ability to management multiple priorities
