Building Engineer

About the position

3 year renewable contract

Minimum qualification required:
- a Bachelor's degree (NQF7) in the Built Environment or Engineering, or an equivalentqualification;
- a management qualification;
- registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) or be a candidate thereof
- at least 5-8 years of experience in engineering or building maintenance, with at least 2years in a supervisory role.

Competencies:
- The ability to work in teams, manage people, resolve conflict and work under pressure;
- proficiency in English (both verbal and written);
- excellent communication and presentation skills (Written and Verbal);
- computer literacy, especially in the Microsoft Office products;
- stakeholder management skills, including on an executive level;
- industry, organisational and business awareness knowledge and skill;
- quality assurance knowledge and skill;
- continuous improvement knowledge and skill;
- continued learning and/or professional develop
