Branch Assistant - Pump Industry, Cape Town

About the position

A well-established industrial pumps company supplying technically advanced products for a variety of industries and applications requires the above to assist with paperwork, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Minimum requirements for the role:

• A High school diploma or equivalent is essential for this role.
• Previous experience working in an administrative or customer service role is preferred.
• Must have Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• The successful candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and other basic computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a willingness to assist with deliveries.
• A knowledge of pumps or industrial equipment is a plus but not required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Answering incoming calls and assisting in a timely manner.
• Assisting with paperwork, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
• Preparing and sending out quotes to customers in a timely manner.
• Coordinating with the sales and service teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork.
• Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
• Assisting with deliveries and collections as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Providing general administrative support to the Branch Manager and other staff members.
• Assisting with other duties as assigned by management.
