Boerdery toesighouer is verantwoordelik vir al die boerdry aktiwiteite op die plaas. Om saam met ondergeskiktes te werk met:
Bereid om neergelegde strategie saam met sy ondergeskiktes uit te voer
Kan onafhaklik toesien om al die nodige prosesse te bestuur binne die waarde sisteem van die boerdery wat insluit: spanwerk, goeie kommunikasie, respek, vertroue, leergierigheid, betroubaarheid, hardwerkendheid, trots op werk en 'n positiewe ingesteldheid.
Take sluit bo en behalwe boerdery ook basiese meganiese, tegniese, administratiewe rekordhouding en rapportering, voorraadbestuur, eiendom en toerusting intandhouding, vleisverwerking en verpakking asook algemene take op die plaas in.
'n Relevante kwalifikasie en ondervinding sal voordelig wees maar kanidaat sal ook op sy vermoee om te leer en ontwikkel beoordeel word tesame met sy aanpasbaarheid by die organisasie.
'n Bestuurderslisensie sal voordelig wees
