About the position

Our client based in Saudi Arabia ,theya are looking for Regional sales Agronomist and Agronomist to join their company .

Regional Sales Agronomist

Purpose of MDTS is to successfully deploy new products to the market. MDTS regional sales agronomist shares this purpose on regional level with three clear objectives to fulfill the purpose. 1) Conduct agronomic and other trials to provide evidence of VP to support and develop marketing materials for product launch 2) Drive and support business in premarketing and sales to customers of new products 3) Build the capabilities of MDTS , shared agronomy platform, customer needs identification, innovation pipeline and standard process to commercialization.
Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide and continuously develop technical research and scientific product development capability. Create the basic materials to support sales (TDS/MSDS/Flyer/Brochure/Training (internal and external).
  • Design and implement and report on field trials for Value Proposition determination and evidence. Prove the value of the product technically, translate the ROI value to farmer $ and other benefits, prove the Understand the complexity of field trial results and the potential meaning for practical application by farmers. Expertly consider agricultural production and application systems and effect on product development.
  • Support Sales with internal VP training, customer presentations, marketing data, technical data and customer and market engagement on new products. Initial customer offering and product establishment
  • Understand and know market participants, commercial needs of customers and market
  • Contribute to and manage the MDTS agronomy data base (ARM system).
  • Understand and support the ideation process based on market needs (pull) vs Research (push) for product success. Feed the innovation pipeline by understanding and anticipating what the market is seeking or will
  • Contribute to the development of Business Cases by providing MI and customer perspectives to support product development selection in your
  • Contribute to the development of Business Cases by knowledge of regulatory, production fertilizer trends to build business case in your

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor Ag Science, Soil science, Agronomy with 4-6 years of experience.

Agronomist

Minimum
Bachelor Ag Science, Soil science, Agronomy.

Minimum
5-10 years practicing agronomy, extensive exposure to product development processes.

Job Specific Skills: (Key functional, leadership, or business skills required)
-Advance working knowledge in soil fertility, crop nutrition and soil nutrients management.
-Proven expertise in a scientific discipline, preferably in soil science, chemistry, demonstrated through a doctoral degree and/or the publication of relevant scientific papers.
-Proven expertise in statistical analysis and using the right methods and software.
-Excellent laboratory experience.
-Excellent in development and adaptation of chemical analysis method.
-Proficient in written and spoken English.
-Willingness to improve and learn new knowledge and skills.
-Willingness to do field work.
-High capability to learn and develop the others employers.
-Organize and carry-out fertilizer research experiments either in-house or in cooperation with outside organizations with the main following objectives:

  • Development of new fertilizers grades.
  • Development of new method of SABIC fertilizer application.
  • Improvement of SABIC fertilizer products.
  • Development of fertilizer programs.

Competencies: (Key functional, leadership, or business competencies required)
Agronomy competencies with trial / experiment design/execution/anaysis/reporting/training/marketing. , Collaboration in ongoing research projects as well as other research work concentrating on:
- Integrated soil-plant management, Soil fertility and nutrient supply, Fertilizers and Fertilization efficiency, the sustainability and the environmental issue.
- Work closely with T&I researchers in developing new fertilizer products
- Able to perform closely with people from the fertilizer business to expand the product portfolio.
