What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)

In this vital role, you'll be responsible for capturing financial transactions, maintaining our fixed asset register, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of bank and other ledger accounts. You'll manage Accounts Payable, including supplier age analysis and invoice reviews, and handle weekly payroll processes. Your expertise will also extend to VAT reconciliation, PAYE, UIF declarations, and providing transaction processing support to our European branches. The office is based in Brooklyn, Cape Town. For the probation period, you'll be fully office based. Thereafter there is a hybrid situation with 2 - 3 days in office (granted you have a stable internet connection and covered in loadshedding). You'll join a great team of professionals who value integrity, dedication and accountability.

What you'll need

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounting, adhering to IFRS standards, and a profound proficiency in Excel and an ERP system preferred. You'll have some form of tertiary education in accounting / finance with at least 3 years at accountant level. We value individuals who are investigative, conscientious, and excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
