About the position
Commercial Broker / Commercial Insurance Account Executive with minimum 3-5 years' Commercial Portfolio Management and new business development experience, required to provide specialist financial advice and service to existing clients and secure new business.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification essential
- RE essential
- FAIS compliant (credits and/or full qualification) essential
- 3-5 years' commercial short term insurance portfolio management and new business development experience essential
- Own transport and license required
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist, professional and tailored insurance advice to clients
- Manage existing portfolio of Commercial Clients and their portfolios
- New business development - meet new business targets by generating leads and securing new business
- Business retention
- Client liaison and communication
- Relationship building and management
- Client portfolio analysis
- Update valuations
- Quotations and comparative analysis
- Presentations
- Claims process support and advice
- Liaison between client and Insurer
- Underwriting support
- Age analysis
