About the position
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the Private Wealth business at a regional level. This includes overseeing client acquisition and retention, optimising share of wallet, enhancing market share growth, and promoting enterprise development and transformation.
The role involves making strategic decisions across segments, sectors, and products to attain the targeted commercial outcomes in the region. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee the sales and service performance of the Wealth segment within the region and represent Wealth Banking and Investment Management as the senior-most authority in the area.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10 - 15 years of Wealth Management experience managing a client base of High Net worth individual
- RE5 Representative, and CAT 1: authorised to provide advice and intermediary services across required sub-categories.
- Desired Post Graduate Degree (NQF level no.8)
- 15 years of relevant banking, lending, and wealth experience of which 10 years should be in a senior role.
Experience required:
- Knowledge of/ in dealing with High-Net-Worth clients (Expert)
- Proven track-record in structured lending (Advanced)
- Credit risk management, measurement, analytics, and reporting(Expert)
- Financial analysis and interpretation skills (Advanced)
- Knowledge and understanding of the full suite of investment products (Advanced)
- Knowledge of Advisory and Fiduciary services and financial planning (Advanced)
- Stakeholder Management Skill (Advanced)
