Procurement Officer

About the position

A company in the PPE industry is looking for a Procurement Officer

Duties:

• Ensure orders are placced accordingly with all suppliers daily, weekly
• Ensure follow up's are done with all suppliers to ensure stock sufficiency and availability on a daily basis
• Oversee and manage receiving/dispatching of products, in conjuntion with warehouse manager
• Assisting with duties from time to time per waraehouse manager instruction
• Adminstration tasks - capturing of GRV on Sage System per supplier invoice received, capturing of manifests on Sage System, requesting qoutes from suppliers, negotiating better prices with suppliers in accordance to top management

• Good mathematical skills
• Excellent procurement skills
• Knowledge of warehouse products
• Communicate effectively
• KPI's and KPA's documents
• Matric
• Need to have your own car
• Warehouse experience essential
• Sage experience
