About the position
Required Attributes
- Experienced Manager (ability to manage, discipline and motivate - build and develop a team)
- Experience in Africa
- Ability to oversee teams in different countries with the complexities it entails
- Sales / customer focused background / Customer orientated
- Positive energy / can do / make a plan attitude to things
- Preferably at least a BCom degree - general business acumen and commercial understanding is important
- Follows Group / Company Policies & Procedures but not "corporate". Will need to be flexible and willing to get stuck into doing things (not just "managing / delegating") - small business, get stuck in and do it. Strong confrontational personality Vs Mediator that will keep the peace but deal with conflict in a sane manner / listens to alternate viewpoints.
