Job Type: Permanent Full job description Key Outputs: Knowledge of scope of practice of all Nursing categories as well as the regulations of the SANC Previous experience as an educator / facilitator /mentor would be advantageous Excellent interpersonal skills, organisational and problem-solving skills Commitment to initiate and implement continuous improvement projects An established interest in staff development A critical aptitude with regard to patient quality care Driver's license / own transport Flexible shifts to accommodate all shifts. Requirements: Postgraduate diploma in Nursing Education or equivalent as accredited by SANC Postgraduate diploma in Medical/Surgical Nursing : General or equivalent as accredited by SANC Current registration with SANC as a Registered General Nurse or equivalent qualification 5 years of proven work experience in a multi-disciplinary Intensive Care Unit including Cardio Thoracic, Neurosurgery, Vascular, General Surgery, and Medical is essential. Assessorship certified 3 - 5 years working knowledge of Trauma, Midwifery and Paediatrics
Salary: Market related and negotiable
