Claims Assessor

About the position

Our client, a medical scheme seeks to employ a Claims Assessor to ensure all claims are assessed following appropriate rules and paid correctly.

Key responsibilities:

• Validate all claims, and ensure they are correctly completed.
• Process of paper claims as determined by BIT administration system.
• Reaching overall targets in the Department pertaining to the payment of claims.

Key requirements:

• Grade 12 (Matric certificate required).
• A minimum of 2 years claims assessing experience within the Medical Aid industry. (ESSENTIAL).
• Computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills.
