Quality Controller at Cape Roasters

About the position

Location: Western CapeThis position will be based in our Cape Roasters Production site in Brackenfell (Unit 37, the Cornerstone. 24 London Circle. Brackengate Business Park), Cape Town.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Controller to join our team Cape Roasters. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet quality and safety standards throughout the production process. They will collaborate with various departments to implement quality control procedures and resolve any issues that may arise.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in quality control within the food industry, preferably in a production
  environment.
• Certification in quality control or related field is a plus.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products
  to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Develop and maintain quality control procedures and documentation.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Communicate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
• Investigate customer complaints related to product quality and implement corrective actions
  as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
