v Analyse drivers route map and ensure they optimize route deliveries
v Track orders to ensure timely deliveries and 0% fail deliveries
v Be alert for traffic conditions and road congestion and make appropriate changes to routes to avoid unnecessary delay and communicate it to the team of drivers.
v Ensure drivers do not fail any delivery without consulting with the Fleet Controller or Outbound Clerk
v Establish the time drivers departed the branch and when was the first delivery completed in order to track productivity
v Identify the gaps in between deliveries and address all abnormalities immediately
v Always have an updated list of drivers contact and assistant drivers contact number as well as corresponding information
v Establish vehicle assigned to driver by registration for tracking purposes daily
v Manage and address individuals that underperform and make appropriate plans to get them assistance to ensure all deliveries can be completed by 5pm
v Follow process when a vehicle breaks down and contact the relevant service provider
v Have all service providers information on record and updated monthly
v Manage productivity ensuring drivers complete 9/10 deliveries every hour
v Anticipate possible hijacking scenario and take the necessary actions. Update Supervisor or Manger immediately
v Provide assistance to drivers in the event of a hijacking or robbery
v Use the vehicle tracking portal to track drivers
v Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are maintained
v Filing and capturing all trip sheets and fuel slips daily
v Ensure all vehicle keys are issues and received daily and keep the key control register updated.
v Printing all the necessary documentation for drivers' trip sheets and security gate sheets daily.
v Filing of key control registers and security sheets daily.
v Scanning out of all parcels over weekends and ensuring all parcels are accounted for and dispatched over weekends.
v Booking out returns to drivers in the specific areas no later than 06h30am daily.
v Scheduling of all white goods for the next day deliveries are done the day before.
v Issuing and monitoring of all airtime
v Updating Order Fulfilment of any irregularities of orders.
v Updating daily failed delivery report and maintaining the branch fail percentage at 0%.
v Staff transport control, requesting transport for staff daily via WhatsApp and email.
v Ensure that fleet costs are clearly and accurately captured daily
v All administrative documentation is labelled and filed as per procedures.
v All daily, weekly and monthly reports/ meeting minutes are up to date
v Ensure 5S housekeeping standards are maintained
v Maintain health and safety standards
v Ensure compliance to COVID19 protocols
