About the position
Brief job description
- Coordinate the export process including documentation, shipping arrangements, and customs clearance.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of export laws and requirements.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth export operations.
- Manage export-related paperwork such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements using accounting software
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for business operations and assist in the preparation of budgets and
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with sales, production, and logistics teams to coordinate export activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Participate in meetings and provide input on strategic decisions related to export sales and financial management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in export management and office accounting roles, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment
- Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, shipping procedures, and export documentation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
