About the position

Dental Assistant Malelane, Mpumalanga
Our client, a dentist based in Malelane, requires a dental assistant for their practice.

Responsibilities:

• Meet and greet patients in a warm and friendly manner
• Assisting with dental procedures and preparing the patient file in respect of information e.g., if it is an injury patient information, coding and submission thereof to the receptionist
• Cleaning and infection control of dental surgery and instruments
• Assisting with sterility and cleanliness of instruments
• Setup of treatment equipment and stock
• Stock control and ordering of stock
• Preparing patients for examination and treatment
• Assisting where required with patient records
• Assisting where required with reception, booking of appointments and when needed
• General admin duties

Qualification and Requirements:

• Matric
• Dental Assistant Qualification
• HPCSA registered
• At least 1-2 years experience in a similar dental assistant position
• Any medical patient software system is beneficial

Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 07h30 16h00
