About the position
My client in the chemicals manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced SHEQ Practitioner to join their dynamic team of professionals. Must have completed B-Tech in Safety Management/ National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety - NEBOSH.
Required Knowledge and implementation of OHSAS 18001 / ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 management systems.
You will be responsible for below:
- Implementing and ensuring compliance with OHS legislation
- SHEQ reporting and audit
- Establish Safe Work Procedures; Standard Operating Procedures and safe work instructions for tasks as and when required
- Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments
- Drive SHEQ awareness on sites -behaviour based safety , risk management and visual safety management
- Identifying OHS-related training needs in the workplace
