About the position

Ensure trial products meet full compliance with Technical File specifications and oversee all design changes according to company standards.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Post-matric qualification in mechanical engineering
  • 3 years experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in a production and manufacturing environment
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Creo, with extensive experience in part modelling, assembly, piping, drawing, and sheet metal design
  • Knowledge of plastics and sheet metal parts manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with refrigeration systems is advantageous

Key Performance Areas:

  • Oversee the design process for assigned products, ensuring adherence to Technical File requirements and design standards
  • Implement and distribute Technical Files (TF) according to the Product Development (PD) roadmap
  • Design detailed models when necessary
  • Create Draft Bills of Materials (BOMs)
  • Conduct design reviews with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with technical specifications
  • Revise drawings in response to changes in Technical Files and their supplements, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant
  • Facilitate product trials, prototype production, and pilot runs
  • Provide support for any required design changes throughout the product lifecycle
