About the position
We are looking for a successful individual who can start The Perm Placement Department within our Current Recruitment [URL Removed] Individual must be highly confident in their ability to set up and run with it.
As a Placement Consultant, you will play an essential role in connecting job seekers with potential employers. You will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and matching candidates to suitable job opportunities based on their skills, qualifications, and career objectives. The ultimate goal of this role is to successfully place candidates in fulfilling positions and provide valuable guidance and support throughout the hiring process.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Source and attract potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, and referrals.
- Conduct thorough interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' qualifications, experience, and career goals.
- Understand clients' requirements and job descriptions to effectively match candidates with suitable job opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of industry professionals, employers, and job seekers to facilitate successful placements.
- Provide guidance and advice to candidates on resume writing, interview preparation, and career development.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and employers, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
- Conduct reference checks and verify candidates' credentials to ensure their suitability for specific job roles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, job openings, and placement activities using applicant tracking systems or other recruitment software.
- Stay updated on industry trends, employment laws, and best practices in recruitment to deliver high-quality placement services.
- Collaborate with employers to understand their hiring needs, company culture, and recruitment strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Placement Consultant, Recruitment Consultant, or similar role.
- Familiarity with the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placement.
- Knowledge of various industries, job roles, and career paths.
- Certification in recruitment or human resources management is a plus.
- Proficiency in using MS Office Suite and recruitment software.
- Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles in recruitment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations governing the hiring process.
