About the position
- Collect, process, record, reconcile, and report financial data to support the Finance Department.
- Maintain accurate records of revenue, expenditure, assets, and liabilities, ensuring integrity and compliance.
- Analyze divisional financial performance to facilitate strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain budgets, forecasts, and cost efficiencies for operational assessment.
- Oversee debtors' collections in line with company policies and KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, external legislation, and corporate governance standards.
- Optimize costing structures to enhance profitability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address financial performance issues and improve profit margins.
- Manage and mentor staff through performance and development processes.
Desired Experience Qualification Critical Requirements: Qualifications: Grade 12, BCom Finance Degree. Knowledge: Financial and cost accounting principles, corporate governance, budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, import/export accounting. Skills: Proficient in MS Office and SAP, excellent planning and organizing abilities, strong time management, detail-oriented, exceptional reporting skills.
