About the position

The Feed Safety Specialist role is located within the sales department of an OpCo. The role of the highest-level Technical Sales Advisor may be located within the sales department of a cluster or division. The Feed Safety Specialist reports to the Sales Manager. The Sales Representative/Key Account Manager and the Feed Safety Specialist work in a ‘tandem approach’ to reach the highest sales possible, whereby the Feed Safety Specialist supports the Sales Representative/Key Account Manager in highly complex and technical processes. The Feed Safety Specialist supports the sales process and identifies areas for increasing sales, while the Sales Representative/Key Account Manager acts as the commercial expert, opening doors and closing deals.


Minimum Requirements:

  • One of the following or related Qualification would be preferred: a bachelor's in animal nutrition, Agricultural or Commercial

  • 5 years' experience in a sales environment within the Animal Feed Safety industry

  • Skilled at using Microsoft Office package

  • Afrikaans/English Speaking
