Our client in the manufacturing industry, based in Berlin, Eastern Cape, is currently looking to employ an experienced Administrator / Wage Clerk.
Note : Berlin is located 30km from East London

Requirements:
- Computer literacy is essential - MS Word and Excel.
- High school education Grade 12 (Matric).
- Diploma in relevant subjects pertaining to job description.
- Punctual, systematic, compliant, well-groomed, a problem solver, energetic, alert with an attention to detail and the ability to complete tasks to the required standard timeously.
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
- To ensure that all Administration related functions are performed as per company standards.
- Being proactive in identifying HR/IR activities (approx. 80 heads) and under the guidance of the Plant Manager / Support Services Manager in Port Elizabeth identifying, recording, issuing, circulating and/or filing off all these records.
- Office management, reception duties and general administration (Including limited finance dept. support).
- Human Recourses Functions.
- Reception duties.
- Weekly wage administration.
- Reporting, administration, follow-up and resolution of all IOD claims.
- Absenteeism reports.
- Responsible for visitors' welfare.
- Placing of orders as directed.
- Ensure filing systems/ archiving is carried out.
- Ensuring Personnel files are secured and that all information is confidential.
- Claims and withdrawals of NBC Provident Fund claims.
- Opening of mail/post.
- Report Writing.
- Health and environment (SHE).
- Auditing of First Aid boxes and the ordering of necessary stock.
- Monthly overtime report.
- Forwarding of Leave for monthly staff to Payroll.
- Administration and Record keeping.
- Recording and controlling of Short-time.
- Implementation of projects.
- Responsible for the ordering of Consumables, including but not limited to staff refreshments and supplies.
- Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) (PPE and Wellness).
- Human Resources/ Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
- Disciplinary Enquiries.
- Scribe/Translator at Meetings, as and when required.
- Assist Plant Manager and Support.
- Services Manager - as and when required.
- Issuing of Casual contracts.
